How Did We Get Here?

Why does anyone start a business? Sick of trying to find your place in a big business? Knowing you could be doing so much more? Wanting some flexibility and control over your hours (especially when you’re a parent!).

The podcasts and books all tell us to define our why, dream our most extravagant goal. We’re all for dreaming big, but we’re also anti BS. Our why? We’re just 2 Mums who are professional women, a little sick of the big business grind, that have seen a niche and seen where we can help.

What started out as helping a mate here and there with their business turned into a Maccas meeting until 11pm at night with a fellow marketing guru.

We’ve heard it over and over again:

‘I don’t even know where to start’

‘I know I should be doing it, but I don’t know how’ or

‘I paid (insert ridiculous sum of money here) to do a course / join a group/ get a one size fits all website’

These quotes aren’t just from our Mums… these are from a huge range of people! Everything from 20 something year old ‘one man band’ businesses starting out through to businesses that have been around for years but are run for time or have received an outside marketing quote that’s just not in the budget.

We strongly believe that businesses can do their own marketing (if they want to) and are all for you taking the reigns with as little or as much help as you want. We get a kick out of watching businesses grow and thrive, standing behind them knowing we did our bit to help.

At the end of the day, we just want to have a family life, make a difference and help out a mate along the way. We want that for you too.
